Tourin' Bearcats to travel to DC and NYC next summer

The Northwest Missouri State University Alumni Association is sponsoring an opportunity for alumni and friends to visit several historic eastern United States destinations next August. Northwest Director of Alumni Relations, Bob Machovsky says the Tourin' Bearcats will head to Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Niagara Falls and New York.

"This trip includes 11 meals. So that's kind of nice that there's already some meals put into it to make it a little more cross friendly.  But this trip is loaded.  We are of course going to Washington D.C., then to New York City, then to Niagara Falls.  Just to kind of give you an idea of some of the things we'll be doing in Washington D.C., we'll be going to see the World War II Memorial.  We'll be going to the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center to take a tour of that.  We'll also be going to the Korean Memorial Wall.  And then of course just to see the wonderful sights that you see around D.C. with the White House and the National Mall."

The eastern United States trip takes place next August 21st through the 29th of 2020. Anyone wanting more information can contact the Northwest Missouri State Alumni Association office in Maryville.
